if someone has a realistic and affordable way to be 100% plastic-free while living in the Midwest during the winter, let me know! 😅

seriously though, in today’s world, plastic is everywhere. and sometimes it has its purpose when it comes to keeping things fresh to avoid food waste. I try to refill what I can and buy loose fruits and veggies when possible, but it’s tough to do that all the time. it’s all about balance and doing what you can.

side note: the SUMOS this season?! 🤌🏼 🍊 who allowed them to be this juicy?! absolutely immaculate.

I am all for decorations and making your home cute, but this is just unnecessary…and also ugly. I will be sad the day I see the thrift store flooded with these items.

do you decorate for every holiday? no wrong answers here, and it’s totally fine if you do. but pleaseee don’t go out and buy a glittery pink donut heart tree. your home your health and the planet will be happier without it 😅
