Vanilla Collagen Matcha Latte

Equipment

  • frother you can also use a matcha whisk instead, but I opt for the quick and easy option.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsp organic matcha powder
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup can sub honey, but maple gives it a better flavor in my opinion
  • 1 splash vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Heat up your water until it's hot but not boiling. You don't want it too hot or you'll burn your matcha.
  • Pour your water into a mug. Add matcha powder and collagen and whisk using a hand frother or bamboo matcha whisk until no clumps remain. You might even see a nice froth form on the top.
  • Heat up your milk, vanilla, and maple syrup. Once it's warm, froth the mixture until well blended and fluffy. Pour it into the mug with your matcha and enjoy!

Notes

If you'd like to skip warming up your milk you can, but I think it adds to keeping the drink nice and warm. Blending the matcha mixture and milk mixture separately is also key to making sure everything blends smoothly. Feel free to add more or less sweetener depending on taste!
